Matomo Analytics
We use the Matomo Cloud service operated by InnoCraft Ltd (Matomo) to measure how visitors use the site. The service processes technical usage information such as the pages viewed, referrers, truncated IP addresses, device and browser details, and interaction timestamps. Matomo only starts collecting data after you provide consent via the analytics banner that appears on your first visit.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. When you allow analytics, Matomo stores first-party cookies to recognise returning visits and aggregates the resulting metrics for us. Data is hosted in the Matomo Cloud infrastructure managed by Helmholtz-Zentrum für Infektionsforschung GmbH.
You can change your decision at any time by opening the consent manager. Click here to reopen the consent settings and choose “Decline” to revoke consent. Klaro will update your choice immediately and Matomo stops sending analytics events as soon as consent is withdrawn.
Further information about Matomo's data processing is available in the Matomo privacy policy.
